2025 Titans Mock Draft: Trade Back Edition

The Tennessee Titans have begun their draft preparations, as the franchise’s coaches and executives spent a few days at the Shrine Bowl and Senior Bowl scouting and meeting with prospects.

A lot of quarterback buzz has arisen from these events, but we’ve done a ton of mock drafts where Tennessee uses their top pick on a quarterback. Let’s switch it up and do a Titans Mock Draft with a trade back from No.1 overall!

MOCK TRADE WITH THE NEW YORK GIANTS:

TEN RECEIVES: Pick 3, Pick 34, 2026 1st Round Pick, 2026 2nd Round Pick

NYG RECEIVES: Pick 1

In this trade, the Titans move down from No.1 and acquire a plethora of draft selections to build out the roster for the future. The Giants move up from No.3 and select their QB of the future in Shedeur Sanders.

Round 1, Pick 3: Abdul Carter, EDGE Penn State

Carter is my No.1 player in the class and would be a home run selection for the Titans. The junior posted 12 sacks and 63 quarterback pressures in 2024 and is a disruptive force who has an electric combination of speed and power.

The Titans struggled to generate consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks this year. Adding Carter to the pass rush is a fantastic way to solve that problem.

Round 2, Pick 34 (From NYG): Matthew Golden, WR Texas

Golden was a dynamic playmaker for the Longhorns in 2024, hauling in 58 receptions for 987 yards and nine touchdowns. The 21-year-old is a phenomenal deep threat with versatile route running and excels at finding the football in contested situations.

Golden would pair well with Calvin Ridley and give Tennessee an explosive young threat who could develop into a star receiver one day.

Round 2, Pick 35: Ozzy Trapilo, OT Boston College

Trapilo started one season at left tackle and two seasons at right tackle for Boston College, and allowed just two sacks and 15 quarterback pressures with a 76.7 PFF Grade in 2024.

The son of a former NFL offensive lineman, Trapilo has excellent size at 6’8, 310 pounds, and would step right in as Tennessee’s starter at right tackle.

Round 4, Pick 102: Pat Bryant, WR Illinois

Bryant could go during Day 2, but he will definitely be an early Day 3 pick and has shot up draft boards after an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl. The Florida native has exceptional size at 6’3, 200 pounds and totaled 984 yards and ten touchdowns in 2024 for the Fighting Illini.

Bryant’s ability to make tough catches and elite ball skills make him an intriguing big-play threat at the next level. The Titans need more depth and production out of the wide receiver position moving forward, so doubling up on receiver with two top-105 picks should be the move from Tennessee.

Bearcats FB

Round 4, Pick 119: Luke Kandra, OG Cincinnati

Kandra started at right guard for the Bearcats in 2023 and 2024, and allowed zero sacks and eight quarterback pressures in 447 pass-blocking snaps in 2024.

The 6’4, 323 pound lineman played mostly right guard in his collegiate career but also saw a handful of snaps at left guard. Kandra has a good anchor in pass protection and is also a mauler in the run game. He could step in as the Titans starting right guard if Dillon Radunz departs in free agency.
